We are hiring a capable Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of Cloudsecure. The ideal candidate will combine accuracy, sound judgement, and strong organisational skills with the potential to grow quickly in a busy environment.

This role will be central to keeping our finance processes running smoothly across invoicing, supplier payments, employee expenses, project cost allocation, and payroll support. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team, gaining exposure not only to financial administration, but also to management accounting, corporate finance, and strategic decision-making.

Accounts Receivable & Client Relationships
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices on time.
- Track invoice status and help maintain orderly billing processes.
- Build strong working relationships with client accounts payable teams to support smooth payment cycles and resolve queries quickly.

Accounts Payable & Vendor Relationships
- Process vendor invoices and expenses accurately and on schedule.
- Support timely supplier payments and maintain clear records.
- Build effective working relationships with vendor accounts receivable contacts to handle payment queries and improve day-to-day coordination.

Employee Expenses & Project Analysis
- Process employee expense submissions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review and analyse expenses, ensuring costs are allocated to the correct projects.
- Investigate discrepancies, missing information, or unusual spend patterns and follow through to resolution.

Systems & Financial Operations
- Work confidently in QuickBooks/Xero and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
- Use project tracking and employee timesheet systems to support cost allocation, reporting, and operational accuracy.
- Help improve finance workflows as the company grows, with a focus on reliability, clarity, and efficiency.

Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
- Help ensure payroll inputs are complete, accurate, and delivered to deadline.

- Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Numerate, accurate, and detail orientated.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy team environment.
- Strong judgement, reliability, and a willingness to take ownership of important operational work.
- Clear potential to grow into a broader finance role over time.
- Interest in using artificial intelligence systems to improve processes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an accounts, finance, or operations support role.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
